Appointment Prep & Salon Policies

Hello, love!

Before you come to your next appointment, I wanted to share a few things to help you get ready…

  • Hair Prep: Please arrive to your appointment with CLEAN, 100% DRY hair.

  • Arrival: I am located inside Sola Salon Studios in suite 39. Enter the front doors and walk straight down the hall. My suite is the 6th suite on the right!

  • Parking: Please don’t park in the spaces along the Minnesota Autism School. These spaces are designated for pick-up and drop-off. You may park anywhere around the Sola building, along the front of our parking lot, or in the back of the building.

  • Masks: Please wear a mask if you’re not feeling well.

  • What to expect: Your initial appointment will last about 6 hours. Please feel free to work from my suite, listen to you favorite podcast, or read a good book. I have plenty of snacks and drinks but you’re more than welcome to order food in as well.

Salon Policies

Cancellations

In order to accommodate all guests, I require a minimum of two days notice when cancelling or rescheduling an appointment. Cancellations made less than 48 hours prior to your scheduled time will be charged a 25% fee. Cancellations made less than 24 hours from your scheduled time will be charged a 50% fee. If I am able to fill your appointment time, that fee will go towards your next hair service.

No-Shows

Due to the demand on my time, failure to communicate the need to cancel an appointment and/or failure to show up for an appointment will result in a No-Show Fee of 100% of the scheduled services. This fee must be paid in full prior to reserving a future appointment at Perk. No-showing your initial installation appointment will result in forfeiting 50% of your non-refundable deposit and you will not be able to rebook.

service adjustments

Guests have one week from the day of service to notify me of any changes that need to be made. If I receive this communication after one week has passed, the guest is then responsible for any service adjustment fees.

maintenance

Guests are required to maintain a 6-8 week extension maintenance schedule. This is to ensure the health and safety of your natural hair, which is my number one priority.

Plus Ones

Perk is a cozy space, perfect for the two of us to enjoy a relaxing and fun appointment together. Please refrain from bringing any additional guests to your appointment including children, spouses, and pets.
